Owners and proprietors, Madeleine Céré and Jean-Louis Bourgeois started Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-haut in the year 2000. Both are from the agricultural community and were born and raised on apple farms, Madeleine is originally from Québec and Jean-Louis from New Brunswick.

Sharing a common dream and passion for agriculture, they combined their experience to create a highbush blueberry plantation in the beautiful Memramcook Valley of New Brunswick, Canada. Over time they have expanded the farm to grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.

At Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-haut, Jean-Louis and Madeleine are very concerned about the environment. In their fields, they follow good agricultural practices and seek to minimize the use of pesticides by following IPM (Integrated Pest Management) an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management, using insect traps to determine if treatments are required.

In 2004, Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-haut is proud to have been recognized for good agricultural practices by holding the title of Farm of the Year by the Fédération Francophone des Agriculteurs et Agricultrices du Nouveau-Brunswick (FFAANB).

Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-haut is a member of the Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick and is also a member of the Really Local Harvest.
